The Cafeteria

The students of the SLITHM are provided with a Cafeteria for their dinning purposes, it is on the 6th floor with a nice sea view. More than 75 students can be accommodated at any given time . in the well ventilated cafeteria students have been provided a television for the relaxation and purified water through filters to enhance their health

Restaurants

In order to facilitate the restaurant practical session the institute is facilitated with two air-conditioned and carpeted mock-up restaurants. These restaurants are furnished with timber tables and chairs. In addition each restaurant is equipped with chiller, separate wash-up area and a stereo set up. One of the wash up areas also consists dish washer.

Furthermore, separate steel cupboards which can be locked are allocated for each class. These cupboards hold separate batch of crockery, cutlery, linen and glassware to be utilized during practical sessions.

The Car Park

For the benefit of the students who are in need of parking facilities, a car park has been provided. Around fifty vehicles can be parked easily excluding the separate area for motorcycles. There is also a separate security officer stationed around the clock to take care of these vehicles.

Housekeeping Demonstration Room

SILTHM is blessed with a fully equipped Housekeeping Demonstration Room which contains all the necessary equipment, machinery and chemicals.

Moreover the students are given the opportunity of doing more intended practical session in the Samudra Hotel Premises.
