The Computer Lab

SLITHM consist of a well equipped computer laboratory on the 5th floor. The lab caters to the students’ current information technology needs with state-of-the-art stand alone computers with Internet facilities, enabling the students to improve their knowledge and conduct research in a calm and comfortable environment.

The Auditorium

The auditorium of SLITHM is of amphitheatre style with a seating capacity of 250 including proper lighting, and is fully air-conditioned, to help students to showcase their talents in front of an audience with confidence.

Special functions such as live entertainment programmes, conferences, meetings and graduation ceremonies are held in the auditorium and students can also use for special guest lecture sessions when required.

The Training Kitchens

SLITHM consist of two highly sophisticated kitchens for the students.

Each kitchen is divided in to two sections as the super hot kitchen and the cold kitchen and is fully equipped. Each station includes an individual stove with separate water lines, gas lines and own chopping boards. Exhaust blowers, chills and storeroom areas are also available. The chef office and the cold kitchen is air conditioned.

The Library

The library of SLITHM consists of a variety of up-to-date books, newspapers and magazines relevant to the hospitality industry with facilities for lending, giving the opportunity for the students to engage in further self studies.

The library has the capacity to accommodate nearly 40 students at a given time and is fully air-conditioned.
