The provincial hotel school in Kandy was started in 1992 to encourage rural youth to gain employment in the hospitality industry. Initially the school was started in a section of the Queens hotel in Kandy and was later shifted to its present location at No 64, Sangaraja Mawatha, Kandy. Currently, the following courses are conducted at this school.

    1 Certificate level courses in

a. Housekeeping
b. Cookery
c. Food and Beverage
d. Reception

  2 Tailor made training programs for industry professionals
  3 Certificate level cookery evening programme
